Kazakhstan’s KAZENERGY Association, in partnership with the Financial Times and TriGlobal Strategic Ventures, will host “Kazakhstan on the Eurasian Energy Map,” a strategic VIP Executive forum focusing on evolving energy environment and key opportunities and challenges emerging in the future energy sector development of Kazakhstan. The VIP Executive lunch will be held on October 4, 2011 at the Palace of Independence Hotel in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Chaired by Sylvia Pfeifer, the Financial Times Energy Editor, this high-level luncheon forum will feature a keynote address by Karim K. Massimov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and contributions from leading international energy experts.

“This year we are marking the 20th anniversary of our Independence,” stated Jambulat Sarsenov, Director General of KAZENERGY Association, “This is a milestone event for our country, which is why the theme of the Forum is Kazakhstan: 20 years of sustainable growth, new horizons of investments and stable cooperation.

The VIP Executive lunch is a part of the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, which is the main annual international event of Kazakhstan‘s energy sector. Over the course of two days, the heads of government agencies from various countries and the world’s largest multi-national energy corporations, along with world-renowned industry experts, share their vision and experience on the key industry issues for Eurasia and the world at large. The agenda of the Forum consists of plenary sessions, discussion panels, round tables, thematic seminars and the KAZENERGY Youth Forum.

Discussions during the luncheon will be interactive and highly focused, combining up-to-date information with cutting-edge analysis, and giving attendees insight into possible investment strategies within the wider economic and political context.
